To register, visit www.house-of-healing.org. For sponsor or volunteer information, contact Heather McAnear at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Gift Goes On
Join us for this special holiday shopping event each November. Get a head start on all of your holiday shopping with vendors, storefronts, and local creatives offering a stunning variety of gifts for every person on your list. The best part of this whole event is that proceeds benefit the Karis Adoption Fund which helps turn orphans into sons and daughters. When was the last time your holiday shopping changed a life? Well, now it can. There is a $5 suggested donation at the door. Do your Christmas shopping early while making it financially possible for children to be adopted into loving families.
Adoptive and Foster Families Support Group
The Karis Support Group meets on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. in C201. It is for foster parents, adoptive parents, Safe Families volunteers, mentors, or anyone who works with children who don't live with their biological parents. We have a teaching time and good discussion with a group of people who understand the challenges you may be experiencing. Contact Carisa Wilsie at email@example.com
