The Bible teaches that we were created for three purposes: to center our lives around God and His glory; to live in loving community with one another; and to care for His created world.

Although this was our purpose, the Bible teaches that the human race determined that it would not serve God and center on His glory but instead to serve self.

The result is that relationships and communities and desires about life blow up. When everyone is self centered and self absorbed, the result is that human community is ruined. The result is that our sense of purpose is distorted and our hope for the future is lost and ultimately our work sense of life and meaning are unsustainable.
