Committee Nominations

The Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for the following committees:  Personnel, Finance, Nominating, Missions, Day Care, Cube, Church Clerk, Treasurer and Trustees.  Please submit your nominations by e-mail to info@councilroad.org or drop them by the church front office no later than March 28.

Good Friday Service

Few services touch hearts more than Good Friday. We remember the story of Jesus carrying his cross and hanging there. We reflect on the significance of this event that is the cornerstone of our faith. But most importantly, we repent. We take a moment to stop and acknowledge our sin, and we praise our Lord Jesus that we do not have to endure what he did. Join us Friday, April 2, at 7 p.m., to prepare your mind and heart for this service. Don't let any distraction of the day prevent you from coming to the foot of the cross. Take this night to truly remember, reflect and repent.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday services are March 28.  Come worship with us as we celebrate Jesus as our King.  We will have our regular 9:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. service times and Connection Classes.
 

Easter Sunday Services

Join us on Easter Sunday at 9:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. There are no Connection classes that day.  Come ready to worship our Risen Savior!
 

Rewired Men’s Retreat

Join us on April 23-24 at Falls Creek for the Rewired Men’s Retreat.  It is designed to spiritually challenge and encourage men in with an encounter with God through adventure, worship and interactive teaching.  Cost for food and lodging is $49 before April 6 and $59 after that date.  For more information, visit www.councilroad.org.

Children’s Camp

Camp is for children who have completed 3rd – 5th grades at CrossTimbers on July 26-29.  Registration packets are on the 3rd Floor Children’s Building or register online at www.councilroad.org.  A $40 fee reserves your spot!  Contact Sam Hedrick at 789-3175 x219.

CRBC’s Apostles Quartet and Pianist Tim Catlett in Concert

Plan to attend this exciting evening of music at 7:30 p.m. in the Worship Center on March 11.  The Capstone Ministry will host a chili supper prior to the concert in the Fellowship Center at 6 p.m.  Tickets are $5 for dinner and available in the foyer this morning.  There is no charge for the concert.
