Celebration Arts

The chief end of man is to love God and enjoy Him forever. We believe that eternal life started the minute Christ came into our lives and that heaven is not just a future hope, it is in many ways a present reality. As worship is the central part of our lives and will be for eternity, it is the very center of what we do and how we live. Our Sunday morning worship experiences are celebrations in that as a body we are enjoying Him now as we will celebrate Him in eternity. We see celebration worship as a key discipline or "practice" of our faith and commit to it weekly.

Community Groups

Success at Council Road is defined by how effectively our ministries move people from Celebration to Connection to Community. Success is moving people from large gatherings to small group “communities.”

We believe the small group is the best place for sustained life change to occur. Involvement in a small group is the key to connect relationally, grow spiritually, and explore ways to share the love of Christ by serving others. At Council Road we desire to create a place where nobody stands alone, a place where issues and challenges of life are faced together, a place where we care for one another, and a place where we are missed if we don't show up.

Practically speaking, there will never be a way for the staff to personally minister to everyone in our church. That's why we place a high value on small group life.
