CRBC Homeschool Enrichment Group is a group of families who collaborate their time and brainpower to provide classes for their children in a group setting. Council Road Baptist Church Homeschool Enrichment Group exists to support students and parents on their journey of home schooling. It is designed to be a supplementary enrichment; to help students and families interact and learn with one another in the community of Christ. We have two firm rules we abide by. (1) That we treat everyone and everything with the utmost respect in a Christian manner; this includes our facility, each tutor, parent/volunteer, Church staff members, and fellow students. (2) Each tutor is the authority in each class, if your tutor dose not allow it then you must respect and abide by that tutors class rules. We wish to glorify Jesus Christ in all we do and all classes are taught from a Christian worldview.
Enrollment is through each tutor. Contact them through e-mail (or by phone if necessary) to request information or enroll. We meet on Wednesdays. See PDF files for class descriptions, tutor contacts and schedule. For information other than enrollment contact :

Science Labs
Choose from Physical Science, Biology or Chemistry. The science labs are co-operative meaning a parent of each student must sign up and lead a lab using the experiments from Apologia text books. We did this method this year(2007-08) and it went very well. Each course will rotate, meeting once a month or once every 3 weeks. By the end of the year each course will have met about 10 times (if necessary).Kim Rothaus will be the administrator , meaning she will set the dates, oversee parent sign-up, and send reminders. Expenses will be shared and are very reasonable.
