Missions Month-October 2018!
One of our favorite seasons is almost here! Beginning
on the first Sunday of October, we will begin to focus
our hearts on the mission that God has called us to.
This is also the beginning of our missions giving season
in which our church gives above and beyond our tithe to
support mission efforts! From October to December, we
raise funds for our missions ingathering which go to
support our local and global partners. We will be
praying, worshipping, learning, and gathering under the
umbrella of missions this month and I can’t wait to see
how God moves in our church and in us individually.
We are so excited to have the Compassion International
Experience pull up at The Cube October 19-21!

Missions Dinner for 8
This was a fan favorite last year! Sign up solo or in a pair
to gather around a table with other CRBC members
(that you may or may not know, that's part of the
fun!) and eat dinner, learn about a mission partnership
more in-depth, and pray together.
There are two dates available! It is first come, first
serve. If you would like to learn about our Cambodia
partnership, join us Friday, October 5th. If you are
interested in Ethiopia, join us Tuesday, October
16th! Dinners will be held in homes and the
address will be given after you sign-up.

2019 CRBC Mission Trips
MISSION TRIP APPLICATION PROCESS
"We don't necessarily need to know them and they don't need overseas experience. As
long as they are following the Father and there is visible fruit in their lives. They need to be
humble,flexible,teachable, and adventurous." -CRBC Missionary
Step 1: We will have the first meeting to go over initial details!
Step 2: Fill out the trip application form HERE. Filling out a trip application means you intend to go on the trip. Makenzie will confirm prices and your commitment before she books flights! Once flights have been purchased, the individual is responsible for all cancellation charges.
Step 3: APPLY FOR YOUR PASSPORT if you don't have one. Make sure that your passport won't expire within 6 months of the trip date.
Step 4: Go to team meetings and pray, pray, pray & save, save save!
There is a specific way you need to tell your supporters to send in checks in order for them to receive tax credit for their donation!
1. Write a check to Council Road Baptist Church, DO NOT put a name in the memo line.
2. Use a sticky note to write the name of the person they wish to support and stick it in the envelope with their check.
3. Mail the check to Council Road Baptist Church, ATTN: Makenzie Magnus, 2900 N. Council Rd. Bethany, OK 73008 or give to Makenzie directly.
Need suggestions for writing a support letter? Doug Goetzinger, CRBC Member, has some
great ones which you can find HERE.
As always, feel free to contact Makenzie with any questions! She would love to hear from you.
