The desired ministry model for Council Road encourages movement from the big room (worship center), to the classroom (Sunday morning group), to the family room (small groups), with the intention of serving together in Gospel causes.

While only Christ transforms lives, people tend to get stuck in their spiritual growth if there is no intentional process to move them. We believe the small group is the best place for sustained life change to occur. Involvement in a small group is the key to connect relationally, grow spiritually, and explore ways to share the love of Christ by serving others. We seek to foster environments where nobody stands alone, to provide places where the issues and challenges of life are faced together and to reach out to those who are missed.

There will never be a way for the staff to minister to everyone in our church. However, by pushing responsibility for ministry out and away from the staff and into the hands of our group leaders, we become so much more effective and our reach so much greater.
