Our 1st-5th grade kids meet on the third floor of the Children’s Building each Sunday at 9 a.m. for graded small-group Bible study. Each class utilizes the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum to walk chronologically through God’s story of love and redemption that starts in Genesis and ends in Revelation. Take-home discussion sheets, trading cards, and an interactive app are all available to help parents continue conversations with their children as we partner in pointing kids to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
During the 10:15 a.m. worship hour, Kid’s Worship provides age-appropriate activities to help kids focus on who God is. First to third graders participate in a rotation of hands-on activities that reinforce the Bible teaching from our Kid’s Connection hour and conclude with a large group session. Fourth and fifth graders begin with a large group session which includes worship and teaching. They are then dismissed to small groups where the teaching can be further discussed and applied to life.
This will be a time of discipleship from 5:45-7:30 for our kids to actively learn about and experience the cornerstones of our church’s values. Each night will include the following:
- Warm Up- A game time that allows kids to interact with each other as they build leadership skills and practice teamwork.
- Sync Up- A time for small groups where kids can interact with adult leaders to share about their lives and memorize Scripture.
- Lift Up- A time for kids to learn about and practice the many ways we can worship God. The connection between God’s Word and worship will also be used to help hide God’s word in the hearts of kids.
- Link Up- This is a time for kids to learn about God’s work around the world. We will learn about missionaries near and far who are sharing the love of Christ in all they do, and we will be participating in our own mission projects too!
