Armenia - October 18-27, 2012

Ever since the flood, Mt. Ararat has loomed over this region as a symbol of God’s presence.  Even though Armenia became “Christian” more than 1700 years ago most villages have no new testament church.  In fact, there are only a handful of evangelical churches in the entire country.  Council Road has helped to begin 3 churches in a rural valley area outside of the capital city of Yerevan.  Our desire is to take the gospel to villages with little or no gospel presence.  In Armenia, relationships truly are the foundation for spiritual transformation.  One team engaged a family picking potatoes and joined right in.  As a result, the Lord opened a door to the gospel, not only for the family but the whole village.  For more information contact Dann Ragan ragan@councilroad.org or Kyle Pewitt kpewitt@councilroad.org or register online.
